In accordance with the plan set by the Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), we are excited to announce that a government initiated Matching Grant will be awarded to the first 100,000 SMEs to register.

ELIGIBILITY
  • Companies that have been in operation for one (1) year are required to have a minimum annual sales turnover of RM100,000.
  • Companies that have been in operation for more than two (2) years are required to have a minimum annual sales turnover of RM50,000 for the preceding two (2) consecutive years.
  • The company is at least 60% Malaysian-owned
  • The company registered under the relevant laws of Malaysia.
  • The company has been in operation for at least one (1) year.



Required Documents
  • Copy of Identity Card or Passport of Director (s) / Partner (s) / Proprietor(s), whichever is applicable.
  • Company’s bank statement for the last two (2) months.
  • Invoice/billing and service agreement from authorized vendor listed by MDEC.
  • Complete Application Form & Declaration Form.
  • Copy of business registration licenses (CCM, Form A/B, Form 24 & 49 and M&A or any similar forms under the Companies Act 2016)
  • Audited financial statement for the last financial year and the latest management account or evidences of sales turnover (if any).
  • Company's profile (if any).

When can applications be submitted?
Applications can be submitted after the official launch of the event on 18 February 2020.
What is the maximum number of bills that can be submitted per submission?
SMEs can accumulate total 5 bill with 5 solutions for the submission.
If an SME comprises multiple branches or franchises, will the SME be able to make claims for each?
Yes, if the branches and/or franchises are registered under different company names.
Where can I find information on the application criteria, required documents and application workflow, as well as approved TSPs?
The announcements will be made on the official MDEC, SME and BSN websites after the SME grant launch on 17 February 2020.
